To prepare your application for the Food Business Builder Grant you must have an account open with SAM.gov. This Support Session walks you through the process screen-by-screen of registering your “Financial Assistance Awards Only” account with SAM.gov. Introduce yourself to the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) through this support session. You can continue working with us to outline your grant plan & receive additional points towards your application rank.
To prepare for the session please:
- Review the Heartland Regional Food Business Center: Business Builder Grant Information Video
- Visit the Heartland Business Builder Grant webpage to be familiar with the grant host
- Download & review the grant solicitation ( Request For Application)
- Have the following information ready for the session
- Date of Incorporation
- Fiscal year end date – most companies use December 31st (i.e. 12/31) but some use the end date of another month.
- Exact Legal Name and Physical Address of the company/entity
- For U.S. companies/taxpayers only their U.S. TIN/EIN
- Bring a laptop!
