Soundsystem formed in Stockholm Sweden around 2012. Run by Karl Benji & Chris
Karl has a long history in reggae music and after playing as a dj and living in London UK during the 90´s founded Tesfa Soundsystem together with Jahkob Levi early 2000´s. Chris has a history in Everlasting Love Soundsystem and has been involved in the rasta reggae scene since the 80´s. He also played guitar in numerous reggae bands.
We started producing dubplates and to release music was a natural step.
The last 10 years the focus has slowly shifted from soundsystem and more towards production and mixing/mastering. Most recent project and focus is the Valves Label and studio works for labels in the UK and works with artists like Vivian Jones, Rick Wayne, Martin Melody, Tad Hunter and David Judah (Solardub) to name a few.
Rick Wayne [UK]
Hailing from Kingston Jamaica is a roots singer. He grew up around and spent alot of time at Channel One studio. Today residing in the UK and has made his mark in the scene with tunes like Jah Jah Judge & Almighty Father produced by Ras Muffet. Both a powerplay by Jah Shaka during the nineties. His album Let Jah Arise is sought after LP by collectors and feature tunes like Holy Herb & Run Away man.
