It is the end of winter in the Phoenix Mill House and the Prescott family has reached the bottom of the barrel of their winter food stores. At this Hearth Cooking day, see how the family made meals from limited supplies. Our costumed interpreters will prepare period recipes over the open fire using antique cooking equipment.Guests can sample the dishes and learn about what life was like for this 1830s millworker’s family. This is an open house program- stay for just a few minutes or linger a bit longer to see the cooking and sample the results. Free Admission - Donations Encouraged
