Join A'lan and Anđela for a fun and engaging ALL-LEVELS dance class that's both beginner-friendly and offers inspiring challenges for experienced partner/ecstatic dancers. The dance style we will explore is fusion dancing, which draws from the rich and varied traditional worlds of blues dancing, tango, swing and Latin dance.
This one-hour session is about more than learning steps—it’s an opportunity to build confidence and ease in the body, connect to & express inner freedom and joy, and foster meaningful, conscious connections through movement. We’ll focus on embodied connection, creative embrace and authentic dance dialogue. We’ll nourish presence, trust, and flow as we explore partner dancing.
As you move across the dance floor, you'll tune in not only to the music, but also to the subtle energies within your body, while embracing and nurturing the synchronicity between you and your dance partner. Whether you're new to dance or looking to improve your partner and ecstatic dancing, you’ll leave you feeling empowered, connected, and ready to elevate your heart-centered dance journey.

A'lan: With over 20 years of experience as a dance instructor, A'lan specializes in close-embrace dance and has honed his skills in the realms of Blues, Fusion, Tango, and Micro. A celebrated figure in the national fusion scene, he frequently travels across the US to teach dance and DJ for events. A'lan's classes place a strong emphasis on connection, consent, safety, clear communication, and fostering shared experiences.
Angela: Having graced the dance floor since the age of 11, Angela has garnered a wealth of experience and expertise. She had the unique opportunity to study and teach Ballroom and Latin dances in Europe and the Bay Area, solidifying her prowess in dance forms including Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Samba, Foxtrot, Tango, and Waltz. In her current role as a Lead Studio Coordinator and Partner Flow Specialist, she continues to guide dance enthusiasts through the enchanting and healing world of dance.
