Your voice is the tool with which you connect with the world around you. It carries emotion and intention, and is something we often take for granted or even neglect. Experience the calming, envigorating and expanding power of collective vocalisation.
In the workshop we will go through the basics of how to get connected with your voice. We will also create music together, improvise circle songs and create space for the joy of embodying your voice. No previous vocal training or musical background is required as this is beyond music.
Mikko Heikinpoika is a ritual musician, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer from Finland. Integrating rich vocal expression, live looping, grounded rhythms, and deep, heartfelt bass frequencies, ritual and ceremony blend together with technology, broadening his expression.
