A free monthly drop-in space for community support and connection, holding space for grief through arts and crafts. ---
There is so much collective grief in our communities, and so much potential for collective healing when we can find ways to give grief a seat at the table. This is intended as a gathering space for folks to be able to talk about their grief, to find support and solidarity in community, to learn tools for navigating grief and to find ways to channel their emotions and experiences through art, centering making as a form of medicine.
We'll have art supplies for different crafts on hand, colouring pages, painting, collaging, beading, embroidery, etc, or you ca bring your own project to work on. Artistic experience/participation not required, folks are welcome to just hang out, have a cup of tea, and share space, too.
Harm Reduction based, open to everyone. No expectations, come as you are.
