Join Jenny Bell in the New Year for a day of reflection, growth, connection and compassion.
This is a half day healing the heart refuge retreat in the tranquil bucolic setting of Foxhollow Farm.
A time and space to allow for stillness, to gather in ceremony, to glean deep spiritual insight and immerse yourself in nature's tender embrace to reconnect you to your own source of divinity.
This heart healing retreat is an incubator to build solidarity + sanctuary in compassionate community.
This New Year Retreat includes a ritual of planting seeds of intention, guided meditation, gentle heart centered qigong, breathwork, sound healing, earthen art, fire puja ceremony + more!

Throughout the day there will be hot tea, refreshments and light fare offered such as fruit, croissants, veggies, dips, cheese, crackers, and sweet treats.
In these challenging times, we are nourished by our common humanity, our shared suffering only strengthens our resolve.
Come take solace in the sanctuary of the heart.

About your guide:
Jenny Bell is a poet, aspiring heart healer and earth artist. She is a Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness Meditation instructor offering classes and retreats throughout our community for the last decade. She has received the latest most comprehensive training in Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness-based in the most contemporary research,
Mindfulness Meditation Certification with David Treleaven.
She is a mindful self compassion mentor and has received direct teachings from Thupten Jinpa- HHDL's personal translator of 30+ years. She has also received Cultivating Compassion Training twice as created by Thupten Jinpa and Stanford University.
Her offerings are born where spirituality and creativitv intersect
She is an embodied conscious space holder, an earth steward, grounding in ceremony, ritual and eco-centric practices.
She is an intuitive energy healer and reiki practitioner, training most recently in Healing With Resonant Attention.
She teaches Sacred Calligraphy, Earth Reverence, Honoring + Offering as Ritual and is an ephemeral botanical creatress.
She has created intricate earth altars and nature mandalas for family celebrations, festivals, retreats, women's groups and many nonprofits including Bernheim Forest!
Jenny is a horse lover and isalso trained in equine assisted therapy. Most days you will find her in the wilderness creating nature mandalas.
About our Guest Facilitators:
Kendra Sadler is a Louisville-based Yogi, Earth Advocate, Sound Practitioner, Co-Creator, and Community Builder. Her offerings are crafted with an eye toward self-exploration, devotion, earth reverence, and overall wellbeing. She is passionate about sharing the magic of Sound, cultivating containers of profound relaxation pulsing with the vibrations of Chinese wind gong, Himalayan brass singing bowls, noise makers, and more. She is dedicated to exploring and honoring the roots of Classical Raja-Hatha Yoga and sharing her expression of the practice with the Louisville community.
Brian Martin is a retired Registered Nurse. He holds a Doctor of Education in higher education and adult learning. He is a certified Lee Holden Qigong instructor and practitioner. Brian has received attunement as a Reiki master. He is a Buddhist and shares his home with two dogs, a cat, and a goldfish.
