About this Event
In honor of the day of love, we will use heart-centered modalities to safely open our hearts to receiving more deeply.
We will start with a small cacao ceremony to soften our hearts open. Cacao has many benefits; beyond being a rich source of antioxidants and magnesium, it has bliss & euphoria compounds that help soften the guard around our hearts so that we may be more present and connected.
Amy will guide a heart-centered meditation so that we can feel our hearts which fosters deeper connection. We will have opportunity to connect and build community from this heartful space.
We'll end with a soothing sound bath to steep in the heart-opening bliss we've cultivated. Sound baths have a calming effect on the brain waves, ushering us from an active and thinking mind to a more meditative state. The frequencies of the sound bowls are matched to the energy centers of the body as well, awakening each center and sloughing off any stuck and stagnant energy. The result is a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating journey.
*cacao is a psychoactive, but not a psychedelic, so it will not alter your reality and it is safe to drive. It does have some contraindications, so if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or on a high dose of MAOIs (anti-depressants) please reach out to Amy ([email protected]) so we can modify your dose or have a substitute for you*
