Heart of Noise Cambridge is a series for live leftfield electronic music in Cambridge Junction. It aims to promote this and related genres, as well as local, national and international acts in this field, both solo and in collaboration. It presents varied and immersive performances: from abrasive energy to celestial beauty.
Join us on 18 January for Heart of Noise Cambridge 14.
This Midwinter edition features Tom Mills, thereminist and electronic musician who plays theremin with the group Bobhowler.
The exciting bill also includes French Jazz-pop singer-songwriter Jemily Rime, who will be using examples of local, small-scale models to generate samples based on her voice and instrument.
And finally on the bill is Andrew Booker & Michael Bearpark, who will be showcasing their Randomatones installation, an ongoing exploration to present ambient music as sonic art.
