The Heart of England Pedigree Whippet Racing Club Proudly Hosts The Spring Open on Sunday 13th April 2025 at Shuttington Village Hall, Tamworth Staffs B79 0DP.
Main Open: 150 yds scratch NE 16lb, 18lb, 20lb, 22lb, 24lb, 26lb, 28lb, 30lb, 32lb
Veteran Open: 6-9yrs 145 yds ½yd/lb plus 1yd/year 14-19lb, 20-23lb, 24-27lb, 28-32lb
Overs: 145 yds ½yd/lb 33-37lb, 37-45lb
Consolation racing in all groups
Qualifies for NPWRA, WCRA Super Stars and Six Counties Points
For main and veteran racing: WCRA or NPWRA passport to be shown as proof a dog has cleared for racing.
For overs racing: KC Registration certificate to be shown and signed overs clearance form
Weigh in till 10.45 am.
Entry Fees: £8.00 for first dog, £7.00 for others.

We will be running under HOE rules
The HOE reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog.
Entry is at your own risk. The HOE and its officials shall be indemnified against injury to any person or whippet, and loss of or damage to, personal property, at any race meeting organized by them.
Hot & cold food served on the day. All day breakfast is our specialty! On-site camping available for £15/night.
