About this Event
Tonight, we will explore the complex dimensions of darker beer styles and see what BC craft brewers are up to when it comes to stouts, porters and other barrel aged libations.
When there is no shortage of choice in our beer selections, we felt an in-depth tasting was just the way to get into the more indulgent end of our offering. From the pinnacle of BC blending and barrel-aging, Temporal, to the Belgian-inspired brews of Dageraad, this will be a night to remember. Your host and Dunbar’s resident Beer specialist Joseph Collins will speak only great truths when it comes to what’s hot and what’s not in our beloved province.
If you’re a beer enthusiast or a wanting to find a new liquid muse to help navigate the winter months, this is the tasting for you.
Our shop tastings start at 7pm and run for approximately one to one and a half hours. We will match 6-8 beers on a theme, accompanied by some light nibbles chosen to pair with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
