Heart-Healthy Living: The Power of Plant-Based Eating

A community summit focusing on preventing and reducing our country's #1 killer: heart disease. According to the American Heart Association, heart disease has been the leading cause of death for over 100 years, a fact that most people are unaware of. Importantly, wise food choices are crucial to preventing and controlling heart disease, with only one diet--low fat, whole food plant-based--shown to reverse heart disease.

This in-person event will include: expert healthcare practitioners & educators, hands-on workshops, cooking demonstrations, food samples, handouts, morning snack, lunch, & beverages.

Triveni Event Center is conveniently located less than a mile from routes 48 and 22, off of the Parkway East and Monroeville Exit of the PA turnpike. Abundant free parking is available.
