February is American Heart month. Celebrate by taking time out of your busy life to focus on your heart. Heart healthy screenings will be offered free of charge and reviewed by experts the following week. Screenings include a full lipid profile (total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides and blood glucose), blood pressure, body mass index and waist circumference. Learn tips on how to improve your health!
Screenings will take place Tuesday, February 18 from 6 -10 a.m. by appointment.
A heart health presentation featuring cardiologist, Dr. Ronald Voice, will be held on Wednesday, February 19 at the Bonfire /Continental Fire Co. in Houghton. Dinner will be included. This is where you'll receive your screening results.
Space is limited , so be sure to register early to reserve your spot!
Please do not register for the event unless you are able to attend both the screening on February 18 AND the presentation on February 19.
