About this Event
The Hear Me, See Me - Research in FE event is back for it's 4th annual outing - this year the event will be held at Walsall College (Wisemore Campus) and will aim to bring educators together to share knowldge, foster collaboration and inspire future advancements in learning and skills.
Doors will open at 6pm and the event.

Event Highlights:
Workshops and Breakout Sessions: Hands-on workshops covering a variety of topics such as, vocational training techniques, including AI technology as well as innovative teaching methodologies.
Panel Discussions: Interactive panels featuring experts discussing the intention and the impact of project work completed and next steps.
Networking Opportunities: Dedicated sessions and informal meetups designed to facilitate networking among attendees, allowing for the exchange of ideas and potential collaborations.
Walsall College are showcasing their work regarding:
- Adaptive Practice in collaboration with Wolverhampton University
- The Unseen Observation Pilot working with Professor Matt O’Leary and Jo Miles
- Coaching and mentoring in collaboration with Wolverhampton University
The Market Place will provide an opportunity for:
- Knowledge sharing providing a platform for sharing the latest research and best practices in learning and skills development.
- Collaboration by fostering partnerships between educational institutions
- Innovation by highlighting and discussing innovative approaches and technologies that can enhance learning and skill acquisition.
Emerging Voices is represented by the Black Country Colleges Collective, it provides practitioners an opportunity to showcase their research from Improvement Projects to PhD.
Expected Outcomes:
Enhanced understanding of current trends and future directions in education and skills development.
Strengthened connections between educators, industry professionals, and community members.
Increased awareness of the importance of lifelong learning and the role it plays in personal and professional growth.
Identification of potential collaborative projects and research opportunities.
