About this Event
This event is for youths between the ages of 10 to 14 years old.
Join our 2‑session Hear Me Out Workshop!
In the first session, youths explore their emotions and express themselves creatively by designing and filling personalised emotion jars.
In the second session, participants will build confidence in public speaking. They’ll learn key skills for planning and delivering a speech, and then put them into practice by sharing their reflections from their emotion jars in a supportive and fun environment!
This experience encourages self-awareness, teamwork, and positive self-expression, leaving participants with a unique keepsake and a boost in confidence.
*Note: is a phone-free experience! To ensure that participants remain fully immersed in bonding.
This course allows participants to:
- Express Emotions Through Art: Participants explore and express their emotions by designing and filling personalised emotion jars, encouraging them to understand and acknowledge their feelings
- Reflect Meaningfully: Thoughtful discussions and guided activities help participants reflect on their emotional patterns, identify feelings they rarely express, and consider how these emotions shape their daily experiences
- Build Public Speaking Skills: Through short speeches sharing insights from their emotion jars, participants gain confidence in expressing themselves clearly and confidently in front of peers
