About this Event
Join us for an important and inspiring event as we present the findings of a new research report exploring what young women want and need from the future Dome Youth Zone.
This research has been a collaborative project between Her-Place Charitable Trust, The Dome Charity, and the University of Chester, placing young women’s voices firmly at the heart of the design and development process. Through consultation, lived experience, and evidence-based research, the report highlights young women’s priorities, concerns, and hopes for a youth space that is safe, inclusive, empowering, and truly reflective of their needs.
The event will share key insights from the research, discuss what young women have told us matters most to them, and explore how these findings can shape the Dome Youth Zone as it moves from vision to reality. There will also be opportunities to hear from partners involved in the research and to reflect on how we can collectively ensure the Youth Zone becomes a space where young women feel seen, valued, and supported.
This event is open to community members, professionals, educators, youth workers, funders, and anyone with an interest in youth provision, gender equality, and creating spaces that work with young people rather than for them.
Together, we can help build a Dome Youth Zone that listens, responds, and empowers the next generation of young women.
