Join us for Healthy, Wealthy, & Wise with the PAW Alliance every Tuesday in October! Throughout the whole month of October, you can donate $1 per pint of SCOOP DOGG on Tuesdays and round up donations support their work as well! Every Tuesday we host our Run/Walk Club at 6:30 PM as well as Boulder and Beer with FirstHand Climbing. And, Every OTHER Tuesday we host the incredible leaders of Phenom Fitness for Wise Workouts!
What is the PAW Alliance?
The Piedmont Animal Welfare Alliance (PAW Alliance) is an all-volunteer animal welfare / social justice nonprofit in Forsyth County, NC. They envision a world where no person or animal will be thrown away, and our mission is to make our community one where all pets and people have safe and loving homes.
They partner with the Forsyth Correctional Center, a minimum-security men’s prison and the Winston-Salem Dog Training Club in A New Leash on Life, a N.C. state prison dog-training program. They also form alliances with area rescue groups to help dogs most in need.
PAW Alliance also collaborates with Family Services Forsyth County in A New Start in Life, supporting domestic violence survivors and the pets they love. We offer foster care or safe lodging to pets while the survivor in the domestic violence shelter.
