About this Event
Nutrition plays a big role in keeping your heart healthy. Food affects many heart health factors like blood pressure, blood cholesterol, and more - however, the best nutrition approaches for heart health can vary person to person. Join Meghan Pendleton, MS, Registered Dietitian for a discussion on heart health, nutrition research, and practical tips to customize your own diet to reduce the risk of heart disease and other related chronic diseases. You'll also have a Q+A at the end of class, and can sign up for a free month of heart-healthy meal plans.
Registration preferred, walk-ins welcome. Free parking is available for event attendees in the DPL staff lot from 5pm-8pm.
