What to expect from the cooking class:At Fresh Earth, our goal is to help you build a healthy eating foundation — one that feels doable, delicious, and sustainable. Our Healthy Made Easy Cooking class is designed for food lovers who want to eat better without giving up flavour or spending too much time. Led by Nutritional Chef Matthew, this workshop will guide you through 11 menu items that bring together plant-based proteins, whole foods, smart fats, and fresh produce.
R500 per person
Class includes:
👉Recipe booklet of the evenings dishes
👉Interactive cooking demo with nutritional chef Matthew Ballenden
👉Wine, kombucha, infused water and juice for the evening
👉A full course meal made using the dishes on the recipe booklet menu, enjoyed buffet style after the class with snacks during the class.
👉The class consist of 8-11 Dishes containing functional ingredients which Chef Matthew will be discussing.
👉Dishes include: Sauces and dressings, mains and sides, dessert, baked goods.
All the dishes are vegetarian with vegan options.

8. Quick Apple Cider Pickles – brighten up salads & bowls.
9. Roasted Balsamic Beetroot, Avocado, Pumpkin Seed, Goats Feta & Micro-greens Salad – a showstopper that hits texture, flavour, nutrients.
10. Mango Pineapple Chia Dessert – dessert that also gives fibre, healthy fat (chia), and natural sweetness.
11. Red Lentil Dhal with Dukkah Crunch – hearty, warming, with a zesty & crunchy finish.
