Aging in place doesn’t mean doing it alone—and knowing what services are available locally can make all the difference.Join us for a free, one-hour educational session designed for older adults and caregivers who want practical, local information on staying safe, supported, and independent at home for as long as possible. This session is especially helpful for seniors who may not be aware of the services available in the area.
Kelly Jones, an RN educator, will walk through common challenges of aging, how to plan ahead, and what resources can help before a situation becomes urgent.
You’ll also hear from guest presenter Marci Hjelm from Lutheran Social Services, who will share services available to seniors—including meaningful connection opportunities such as their companionship programs — and others that help older adults stay engaged and maintain independence.
You’ll leave with:
> A clearer understanding of aging-in-place options
> Awareness of local services that support daily living
> Tools to help plan ahead for yourself or someone you care for
> Peace of mind knowing what help is available—before it’s needed
📍 Location: Meeting Room at Ridgewood Villa (just north of Glacial Ridge Health System)
➡️ Use the Villa’s main entrance off Franklin Avenue in Glenwood
✅ Free to Attend – Open to the Public!
We look forward to seeing you there!
