About this Event
Purpose of the Meeting
This meeting aims to bring together doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and other clinicians who are interested in:
1. Identifying unmet clinical needs and service gaps
Many patients are unable to access certain treatments through NHS services in Northern Ireland — for example:
- Weight-management treatments not commissioned locally
- Mental health needs that aren’t met quickly enough
- Men’s and women’s health services that fall through the cracks
- Metabolic and lifestyle therapies that are unavailable locally
- Other internationally accepted interventions that are not NICE-funded or are routinely deprioritised
- Dermatology, fatigue clinics, pain optimisation, menopause support
- Any field where global evidence is advancing faster than NHS adoption
These patients are often turned away not only by the NHS system but also by large private providers, leaving them without care. We want to explore how we can ethically and safely offer these services within a regulated, patient-focused private setting.
2. Creating new opportunities for clinicians
Not every clinician has access to established private-sector networks or the capital needed to launch their own clinic. This platform allows professionals to:
- Provide private consultations
- Offer specialist services
- Work independently or collaboratively
- Start with zero infrastructure cost
- Deliver care through a secure, modern digital system.
Think of it as enabling clinicians to benefit from an “open-source–style” healthcare ecosystem — flexible, accessible, and not controlled by large corporate structures.
3. Exploring a new healthcare model powered by technology
The cloud-based, secure, software-as-a-service can support every stage of a private outpatient journey, including:
- Online and in-person consultations
- Clinical notes and secure records
- SMART Questionnaires
- Patient Portal
- Appointment management
- Workflow automation
- Tasks and follow-up management
- Virtual clinics
- Multi-practitioner collaboration (Referral management)
- Billing and Payment Management

The goal is to build a patient-first network that gives clinicians autonomy, and patients access to services they cannot obtain anywhere else.
