Join us for a day of food, fun, and canvassing as we launch our Health Care Help campaign! The Healthcare Help Fair will be on July 13 at (location) from (time). The healthcare help roundtable is a collaboration between Rad Youth Collective, Sunflower Collective, and the Thomas Merton Center. Our goal is to bring resources directly into our communities to combat the medical debt crisis, bring resources to our community to help folks find their way out of medical debt, and learn how to navigate the medical billing and insurance systems.
Lack of access to medical care, and growing amounts of medical debt, are forcing many Americans to forgo medical treatment leading to greater health risks and even death.

Get Resources! Local organizations and community groups will have resource tables to share the work they do and the resources they have to support the community. (More details to come!)
Integrative Community Therapy: Sunflower Collective and Our Streets Collective will be co-facilitating a community conversation around our healthcare and medical billing system. This community conversation will create space for folks to come together to discuss their individual lived experiences, and find common ground and shared experiences in community with one another (make people feel less alone in their struggles!)
Community Canvassing: We will be debuting and distributing our new Healthcare Help Zine, along with a digital survey we're inviting members of the community to fill out to help us learn about the different ways the Healthcare Crisis is impacting people in Pittsburgh. After the community therapy session, we will be inviting folks to go out to a few locations, talk to neighbors, and ask people to fill out the survey.
Hope to see you there!
