Health Talk Series: Blood Pressure (NEW!)

Check. Change. Control.® (CCC) Blood Pressure is an evidence-based program that empowers participants to manage their blood pressure through self-monitoring and lifestyle changes. It aims to reduce health disparities by promoting medication adherence, physical activity, healthy eating, and mental well-being. This health talk series is presented by the American Heart Association of Tampa Bay.
•Thu, Oct 9 – CONTROL YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE
Know your numbers. Self-monitor regularly. Take action if you or someone you care about is at risk or has high blood pressure.
•Thu, Oct 16 – EAT SMART
Balance is key! Follow AHA’s tips: eat more fruits, veggies, whole grains, healthy proteins, and less salt, sugar, and alcohol.

Physical activity improves heart health, mood, sleep, and energy. Create a simple movement plan and get active daily.

Mental health matters. Learn how stress, emotions, and social support affect your heart — and how to build resilience
