About this Event
We would like to invite you to a ‘Health Matters’ session on Thursday 6 October from 2.00-3.30pm, where you will have an opportunity to find out more about a new Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) service called ‘Healthier Together@Home’. There will be a short presentation on Healthier Together@Home and then a chance to talk about it in small groups, to share your feedback and make suggestions.
Healthier Together@Home aims to support care in the home environment, whenever it is clinically appropriate to do so. This might be just a few days towards the end of a hospital stay or might mean that the person doesn’t need to come in at all and can be fully treated at home. Dedicated teams will provide care to people where they live, supported by a blend of remote technology and in-person care.
We want Healthier Together@Home to be available to support everyone, whenever it is appropriate, and we are really keen to hear how you think this can be achieved. This is a great opportunity to share your views on how you think the service will affect people’s health and wellbeing, any barriers which may stop people from being able to use the service and how we might be able to overcome these barriers. Your feedback will influence how the service works in future.
The event will take place on Thursday 6 October at 2.00pm-3.30pm at the Level 9 Restaurant, Bristol Royal Infirmary, Marlborough Street, Bristol BS2 8HW, and the doors will open 30 minutes beforehand for refreshments. All welcome.
