Meet Jennifer
Hi/Bonjour! I'm Jennifer, I'm a registered pelvic floor physiotherapist from Montreal currently based in Vancouver. I'm invested in improving people's daily lives by connecting with them in a positive and safe environment, so we can work together and overcome any challenge their pelvic floor may be presenting, no matter their gender nor age. I knew early on in my career that I would be focusing on pelvic health. This profession is so unique, and I love how we can have a direct positive impact on someone’s journey. It also opens the platform for discussions we perhaps don’t have enough. I value this role because helping others reach their goals and furthering those discussions are some of my core values. I lead my practice with passion, care, and kindness. I do believe in the combination of education, manual therapy, and home exercise programs in order to achieve set goals. For your convenience I can hold the sessions in French and more limited in Spanish.
I took extended continuing education courses to treat a diversity of clients, and now run my own practice called AcuElements Wellness Clinic in downtown Vancouver. I offer treatments for: Incontinence (urine and stool), Prenatal and Postpartum, Urinary Urgency/Frequency, Vulvar, Vaginal, Clitoral, Perineal Pain (at rest, with touch or with intercourse), Vaginismus, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Endometriosis, Coccydynia (Coccyx Pain), C-section prep & Recovery, Gender Affirming Pre-Post Surgery Care, Anorectal Pain (at rest or with stools), Interstitial Cystitis/Painful Bladder Syndrome, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Menopause, Male Pelvic Pain, Vaginal Stenosis, Pre and Post- Surgical Consult and Conditioning after Pelvic Radiation Therapy or Obstetric, Gynaecological or Colorectal Surgery.
