At Unions Tasmania, we know that nothing is more important than coming home safely at the end of the day. Safety is union business, and we are proud WHS experts, advocates and trainers. We are pleased to again host Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Conferences during this year's WorkSafe Month where the team is 'Safety: every job, every day.'
HSRs and their deputies have a unique representative role in work health and safety, and benefit from learning and networking opportunities with others who do the same role they do.
We open the HSR conference to elected HSRs and deputies, and to others who play an active role in health and safety at work, including work health and safety committee members, union delegates, and members of work health and safety teams.
This year’s HSR conferences will feature a mix of keynote presentations, lived experience stories, facilitated panels, and hands-on workshops that focus on both physical and psychosocial hazards.
The conference is completely FREE but registration is essential. Registrations will open at 8:45am with conference kick off at 9:15am sharp. The conference will be held in the Ricky Ponting Room.
