About this Event
The UBC Emergency First Response Team is offering SFA Training for Health and Exercise Science Students to fulfill practicum requirements. In this course, you'll learn all basic life-saving skills like CPR and AEDs while also learning how to handle various life-threatening emergencies, wound care, splinting technqiues, and various sudden medical and environmental emergencies.
As a Canadian Red Cross Training Partner, you'll receive a three-year certificate. For more information about this course, and other courses we offer, take a look at our website.
For the SFA Course, HES Students pay $100.00. All other students, staff, and faculty members pay $125.00. Payment is received at the course.
You will need to transfer the amount to [email protected] to reserve your spot no later than one week before the course starts. If you register after the one-week deadline, you will need to transfer the payment upon registration. If we don't receive payment by that time, you may be removed from the course roster.
