This friendly and inclusive two-hour workshop is facilitated by Clare Shaw, a poet, tutor and CSA survivor who believes that writing has the power to help and to heal. Using accessible, mindful writing exercises, you’ll discover how writing can help you to express yourself, to connect with others, and to find your voice. All adult survivors – including new and experienced writers – are welcome.
There is an option to share work created here, or other work, at the poetry slam/open mic night later this evening if you'd like to.
Please bring your own writing materials (pens, pencils, paper, journals). No experience required.
This workshop is open to CSA Survivors and allies.
