About this Event
Healing Together: A Conversation with the redemptive healing team post Metanoia report
We invite past participants of the Redwood Park Church youth and young adults community from the years 2009 to 2018 to join us for a supportive conversation aimed at providing understanding, empowerment, and conversational space for those that have been effected by the events described within the Metanoia Report. There will be a later session booked for parents and guardians of those effected bythe events described in the report. This time will be exclusively for those who were youth and young adults in the above time frame.
Conversation Focus:
- Safe Space: A confidential environment where survivors can share experiences without judgment.
- Empowerment: What can we do to support healing for yourself and for others?
- Community: Connect with others who understand and validate your journey.
- Conversation Questions: Have you had a chance to read the report? Are there questions that have risen from it? Does anything need clarifying? What was the impact of those events, then and now? What support did you wish you had at the time?
This workshop is a step towards healing and empowerment. Together, we aim to create a space of understanding and support as we navigate the path forward. Registration would be appreciated as there will be lunch provided. Please email us if there are any allergies we can help to accommodate. If there are any changes to the event, we will email participants in advance.
