Healing through Words is part of our Community Mental Health & Wellness (CMHW) Monday offerings. Thanks to the Poet Laureate Fellowship Grant through the Academy of American Poets, Gloria Muñoz (St. Pete Poet Laureate) partnered with us for the next year to provide Healing through Writing workshops. We held the first two workshops with Gloria to introduce the series, and it was an inspiring, open space to write and share freely. Since then we've held over 8 workshops to date with dates through November.
Each workshop introduces new local writers and poets of various backgrounds to facilitate the workshops! We're excited to continue extending this as part of our Community Mental Health & Wellness Mondays.
All workshops for Healing Through Words and Community Mental Health & Wellness Mondays are FREE and open to the public.
