π Overview
Light Within is a hands-on, therapeutic workshop that blends creativity with intentional healing. Hosted by Kyla Derry, this session invites Black women into a sacred space to explore aromatherapy, color symbolism, and candle-making as a ritual of release, empowerment, and grounding.
Participants will be guided through the process of creating their own personalized healing candle, each one infused with meaning, memory, and energy. This experience centers stillness, self-connection, and mindful reflection β offering a rare moment to pour love back into oneself.

With your permission, BWIE may capture photos or brief video clips during the session for the purpose of promoting Thrive in Black and future wellness programming.
