Please note: Please note, the April 7th and May 5th circle dance sessions with Ana have been cancelled and there will be sound bath only on those dates. John Hofton will be away on May 5th, and the sound bath will be covered by Christian Platts, who brings indigenous instruments from around the world, sharing eclectic tones and frequencies to support your healing journey.

Join John Hofton for a healing sound bath here at the Monastery, Manchester
For those of you wishing to lie down for the session, please bring a blanket
Sound healing is recognised as an aid to deep relaxation, increased energy flow and is a way to still the mind and feel more connected to your inner core
John uses a wide selection of highly resonant sound healing instruments in these sessions : e.g. Tibetan Singing Bowls, Traditional American Indian Drone Flute, Gemshorn, Dream Chau Gong, Sacred Solfeggio Tuning Forks, Tubular Bells, and Quartz Singing Bowls
This is a gentle, refined and subtle form of healing which works holistically – on mind, body and spirit

CIRCLE DANCE WITH DR. ANA BORGES DA COSTA
Join Ana at the Monastery for a joyful session of Circle Dance
She will lead you in a short series of simple dances which draw upon a very rich international repertoire
Ana will teach you all the steps, so no prior knowledge is needed
Circle dance is an enlivening, heart-centred experience
Come and join our circle, all welcome!
THis combined session lasts for 2 hours and costs £15 (+ booking fee) to help towards the huge cost of running and maintaining the Monastery, which is a charity. We do, however, have a small number of fully subsidised places available for those experiencing financial hardship.
