Healing in Community is a three-hour gathering where we come together to rest, rejuvenate, and reconnect - with ourselves and with the nourishing field of shared presence.⁣
⁣
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭⁣
We begin with group grounding, meditation, relational mindfulness, and coherence building to bring into our collective awareness the themes and intentions we arrive with.⁣
⁣
Participants then receive Craniosacral Therapy or Presence Touch sessions from one of the community healing practitioners present.⁣
⁣
Both Craniosacral Therapy and Presence Touch are fully clothed bodywork modalities that work through gentle, subtle contact, supporting the body’s innate capacity to self-regulate and heal.⁣
⁣
When held within a communal space of safety and stillness, this work deepens. The seeming boundaries between individual and collective healing begin to soften.⁣
⁣
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬⁣
Some aspects of healing can only unfold in the attuned presence of others. Relational trauma requires healing in relationship.⁣

By practicing in community, we open a field where our personal experiences are held in a wider web of support, reminding us that our wholeness is deeply interconnected.⁣

When we heal in community, we also heal community.⁣
⁣
𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬⁣
We believe high-quality therapeutic presence and attention should be available and accessible to everyone, regardless of social or financial circumstances.⁣

This gathering is donation-based. Nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds. Any donations offered will be used to support future Healing in Community events.⁣
