Join our small therapy group where we utilize EMDR/Somatic therapy techniques & horticultural therapy to tackle depression. In a supportive environment we help members process distressing memories while finding solace and growth through hands-on gardening activities. Together we cultivate resilience and joy amidst life's challenges. Engage in somatic therapy and hands-on activities learning practical techniques to understand our moods. Craft your own nature-inspired keepsake to take home, a tangible reminder of the tranquility found in nature's embrace. Unwind, connect, and cultivate inner peace in this nurturing 90 min workshop.
Group is led by April Ellis, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Horticultural Therapist (HTR). April specializes in the well-being of people dealing with depression anxiety and acute psychiatric problems. She utilizes her horticultural therapist credentials to design innovative therapeutic programs that encourage sensory engagement relaxation and a renewed sense of vitality for participants.
