About this Event
Are you stressed? Overwhelmed? Feeling kind of lost? Or taking the next steps on your healing journey? If the answer was "yes" to any of those, then this Healing Breathwork Journey is just what you need. This modality of breathwork helps you express and release current stress and trapped emotions and draws in a deeper connection to calm and peace. It is an inward journey of healing, reflection, and insight which taps into the innate intelligence within.
Please be sure to read the contraindications (to make sure this breathwork is appropriate for you) and pre-session information below.
This Healing Breathwork Journey includes 30 minutes of exaggerated deep belly breathing, at your pace (with a couple breaks in between) to activate your nervous system and release pent up emotions, followed by approximately 30 minutes of calm, soothing breaths to reset your nervous system, call in more of what you want from life, and bring you to a more naturally aligned state. Each session is 2 hours which allows for a half hour of introduction and centering before the hour breathwork journey, and then a half hour of reflection and sharing, if you choose.
Contraindications: This modality of breathwork is intended as a personal growth experience and should not be looked upon as a substitute for psychotherapy. It is not appropriate for pregnant women, for persons with cardiovascular problems, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, history of seizures, stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness, or epilepsy. If you have any doubt about whether you should participate, please consult with your primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician. If you have any questions, please reach out to Amber directly.
