About this Event

Texas Boys Choir is pleased to present their annual Spring Concert at the world-renowned Kimbell Art Museum. The Renzo Piano Pavilion will provide the perfect setting for this concert celebrating the power of stories and creatures of all kinds. The centerpiece of the program will be the performance of four contemporary pieces on Greek mythological characters: Perseus, Medusa, Icarus, and Prometheus, by Vancouver-based composer Kristopher Fulton. Other featured composers include Charles Villiers Stanford, Elaine Hagenberg, John Rutter, and Eric Whitacre. A special encore selection will celebrate the 100th birthday of famed American composer, Henry Mancini.
