Get ready for a wild storytelling safari!

Heads & Tails dives into the folklore and fables of Southern African cultures, bursting with fun, laughter, and unforgettable adventures. Whether you're roaring like a lion or stretching tall like a giraffe, this is storytelling like you've never experienced before!

To celebrate National Storytelling Week 2026, Surrey Libraries proudly welcomes back professional storytellers Andy Copps and John Kirk for a spectacular return. They will bring African animal tales to life with high-energy performances, audience interaction, and plenty of surprises along the way.

📚✨ Join us at Addlestone Library for a magical storytelling adventure that is not to be missed!

Key information about booking:

  • The performance will be approximately 45 minutes long.
  • Please ensure you arrive 10 minutes prior the start to avoid any disruptions.
  • The event is suitable for ages 5+ and their grown ups!
  • Booking is essential, so be quick to avoid disappointment.
  • Tickets are available with a donation* (Minimum recommendation is £2 per person attending).
  • Please book ONE ticket per FAMILY attending (you will be asked to confirm the size of your party in your booking).
