A friend of Headcleaner since day 1, Melanie’s sets echo the history of her influences, resonating with tones of nostalgia. Growing up in the 90s, she was immersed in goth rock, post-punk, and industrial music. During the Y2K era she dove into the Midwest rave scene, drawing inspiration from the musical landscapes of Detroit and Chicago. Melanie’s style is eclectic and expansive, spanning dark disco, industrial, electro, house, and techno, with unexpected surprises woven throughout. Her sets bridge the gap between the atmospheric vibes of the past and the contemporary sounds of the present.
