Honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi with us on Friday 6 February at Ngāmotu Beach, 3pm - 6pm.
A free community event by NPDC with live music, kai, and activities for your whānau to acknowledge and celebrate the significance of Waitangi Day, everyone welcome.
Come along for the afternoon to enjoy performances, food trucks, a bouncy castle, a foam cannon, and ‘have‑a‑go’ disc golf putting sessions amongst the trees at Ngāmotu Beach, hosted by Freethrow Disc Golf.

More information
- Parking is available along Ocean View Parade as well as Māori Wardens being on site opposite Ngāmotu Beach playground to guide visitors to an overflow carpark.
- There will be waste stations set up on site for visitors to dispose of rubbish and recycling accordingly to designated bins.
- Although there is shade available under trees, a reminder to slip, slop, slap and be sun smart.
