He Gone Cry in the Car Ft. Worth Edition

This is a unique event that blends art and community to tackle the mental health challenges faced by Black men. Set in the vibrant heart of Dock Booksho, known for hosting vibrant community focused events in Ft. Worth. Attendees can look forward to captivating live performances by Black male poets and musicians, alongside a visual art showcase featuring works by Black male artists.
Notable presenter will be Mike Guinn-MSW Fdr of The New Non Profit "CREATIVE ARTS MOVEMENT" one of the most active artists/advocates using arts to address mental health, domestic violence, male sexual assault and creative empowermen.
The event will also include an intergenerational panel discussion where Black men will address social and emotional issues impacting the community from their perspectives. This free event is open to the public, and complimentary food will be available while supplies last. Organized by Volunteering While Black and Art Inspired Healing, in collaboration with partners such as Maroon 9, A Steady Hand, Texas Family Wellbeing Initiative, Tri Costal, and The Dock Book Shop, it promises to be an unforgettable experience.
