About this Event
This is a free soldering and open source hardware electronics workshop for candidates from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in STEM fields and education (Refugees, migrants, Immigrants, POC, Women, LGBTQ+).
Learn about the climate crisis and the need for innovation that is sustainable and resilient through presentations and a hands on workshop. Participants tangible hard skills: how to solder, assemble an electronics enclosure, flash firmware, test device in the field, understand environmental data.
You also learn about opportunities for open source innovation to receive funding, such as the Hackaday Prize.
