About this Event
Welcome, New and Incoming Students to Hudson County Community College!
What is Orientation?
Orientation is the first step in your First Year Experience at HCCC, designed to support you as a whole and seamlessly transition you into college life.
Orientation is a time to Learn - to learn about what to expect academically, what student life is all about, what resources are available to assist you, and what unique opportunities exist to help you broaden your experience. You will learn how to take full advantage of what the college has to offer both inside and outside of the classroom.
Orientation is a time to Experience - to experience what it is like to explore the technology available to you, take advantage of support services, participate in student activities, and navigate your way around campus. Fun giveaways, prizes, swag, and more await you!
Orientation is a time to Meet - to meet faculty, staff, administrators, current students, and other students starting at HCCC as well! Build connections with others and network with everyone you meet at Orientation.
Orientation is for all New and Incoming Students - whether you have been on campus before or not, there is always something exciting to learn, something to experience, and someone new to meet.
Lunch will be served. Every student will obtain their HCCC Student ID card by the end of Orientation, as well as some free giveaways.
Again, welcome to the HCCC community – we look forward to serving you!
