HBMTBC members have access to shuttles at Whakarewarewa Forest in Rotorua 9am to 3pm on Friday 24th October 2025:
Shuttles on the main line – 9am first uplift from Waipa Mountain Bike Carpark outside Secret Spot Hot Tubs (first in first served to ride on the shuttles from Waipa up to the top shuttle drop off). After this, shuttle pick up will be at the usual corner of Hill Rd/Pipeline Rd.
Shuttle on the Tawa line - 9:30am first uplift from the shuttle pick up point at the far end of Tawa Carpark (also known as as Te Putake O Tawa, and shown as Forest Hub 2 on the maps). This shuttle drops off at the start of Frontal Lobotomy.
Note: to continue on the main line shuttles after 3pm, you will need a standard shuttle pass.
This trip is exclusively for members of the Hawke’s Bay Mountain Bike Club. If you haven’t joined for this current year, please do so before registering for the shuttle day.
You are responsible for your transport to and from Rotorua.
