Don’t miss out on this unique band camp experience! Youth ages 10-18 will explore HBCU band culture, learning instruments, baton twirling, dancing, drum major skills, and color guard. With guest clinicians Dr. Kedric Taylor (Southern University), Dr. William Earvin (HBCU Collective, Conn Selmer), Aaron Fields (Percussion Extraordinaire, A1Media CEO), and Curtis Akeem aka Dolla Watson (Band Advocate, D Dub Arts Foundation), the camp culminates in an electrifying performance on June 14th at the Juneteenth Anchorage Citywide Festival. #juneteenthcelebrationSign your youth up today
seeking youth who are at minimum familiar with playing an instrument or interested in supporting band roles
target grades are 4th grade through 12 grade (younger students may be considered with approval from camp coordinators and band directors)
Price to attend this week long camp is 150 and includes all supplies and meals and transportation as needed.
Limited partial scholarships are available and family discounts are also available
