About this Event
HBC Champions Foundation 0.1K Race of Champions
‼️GET READY FOR SUNDAY FUNDAY‼️The HBC Champions Foundation is excited to host the 3rd Annual 0.1K RACE OF CHAMPIONS where we will GO THE DISTANCE to help deserving kids in Norman and OKC! This event is open to participants of all ages, requires NO physical training whatsoever, and will directly impact children in Norman Public Schools, as a portion of the proceeds will benefit Assistance League Norman’s Operation School Bell!
On Sunday, October 26, the fun begins at 2:00 PM at Louie's in Brookhaven Village. Participants will check in to receive their t-shirt and 0.1K sticker to show off their accomplishment and then get down to live music from one of our FAVORITE bands, SOULED OUT! You won't want to miss out on our AWESOME raffle and silent auction items. At 3:30 PM, Coach Bob Stoops will kick off the “race” and sound the gun to begin the 328-foot (0.1K) trek to the FINISH LINE. As the competitors are sauntering their way through the course, we’ll have our eyes peeled and a prize ready for the “Best Dressed” participant, and a mid-way “hydration station” will feature the snack of champions – donuts. Post-race festivities will feature more live music by SOULED OUT, and announcements of raffle and auction winners, concluding at 5 PM.
Click "Reserve A Spot" to preregister for the Race of Champions! The $45 entry fee Includes a T-Shirt and 0.1K Sticker Decal for each participant. Walk-up registration the day of the event will be offered for $50 per person.
We hope you will join us for this fun afternoon to help the HBC Champions Foundation “GO THE DISTANCE” by continuing to fulfill our mission to supply financial contributions, positive experiences, resources and support to enhance the lives of ill or disadvantaged children in Oklahoma. Founded by Coach Bob Stoops in 2000, and later joined by Coach Barry Switzer in 2018, these two legendary, Hall of Fame Oklahoma “Head Ball Coaches” have a passion for helping children and have teamed up to contribute over $2.5 million to worthy causes in the Norman and Oklahoma City area.
