Instructor:

Luisa Tapia has nearly 23 years experience in the food industry working for a globally recognized baking company in Mexico and United States locations. She began her career as Quality Assurance administrator and quickly progressed to Quality Assurance/Food Safety Manager. She graduated from Iberoamericana University at Mexico City in 2001. She worked for AIB where she held the responsible for GFSI training and education, developmental consulting in US, Mexico, Latin America, Caribbean and South America locations and performed GFSI audits and Technical Reviews in US. Currently responsible for GFSI, HACCP, Certifications, Food Defense, and FSPC for human food training, education and consulting in US, Mexico, Caribbean, Latin American, and South American locations.


She is a qualified trainer for FSMA, HACCP, Food Defense, FSSC 22000, BRC, SQF, IFS and has a certification support for organic, bionengineering (Non-GMO), Kosher, and Gluten Free.


Course Format:

This instructor-led in-person training course is delivered on consecutive training days as follows:

July 22nd: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (HST), includes 1-hour lunch break (lunch not provided)

July 23rd: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (HST), includes 1-hour lunch break (lunch not provided)


Cost:

$650*. Includes course materials and HACCP training certificate. $325 for companies receiving the Hawaii DLIR Employment Training Fund (ETF) 50% subsidy. $325 is due upfront to hold your seat for this class and covers full tuition for companies who have received DLIR ETF approval. Requests for ETF subsidy approval must be received by July 8, 2024 - or as soon as possible. Email [email protected] to request the ETF application form. Participants who apply for DLIR ETF subsidy and do not receive approval will be invoiced for the remaining $325.


Training Materials:

Participants will get a printed version of the course materials for this program.
