Special guest- Phil Caffrey to open the night Displaying an incredible vocal range with a distinctive all-round style, which can effortlessly leap from earthy and soulful raw emotion to soaring and ethereal angelic tones, Hayley has been likened to Eva Cassidy, Joni Mitchel, LeAnn Rimes and Kate Bush.
Hayley has co-written with twice Grammy-nominated songwriter Jan Buckingham (Whitney Houston) in Nashville, performed in Bob Harris’s home studio for his Under the Apple Tree sessions, and has supported Tom Jones, Albert Lee, The Shires, Scouting for Girls, Martha Reeves and Hazel O’Connor.
Earlier this year Hayley toured the USA, with performances across Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. She has an exciting summer ahead with festivals including opening the Main Stage at Hardwick Festival this year Sunday 18th August with her band ahead of acts including Richard Ashcroft, Lightning Seeds and Blossoms.
Some of Hayley’s other notable festival appearances include The British Country Festival, Folk on the Dock, Lindisfarne Festival, and The Americana Summertyne Festival at The Sage Newcastle where Hayley was selected as featured artist. She has also performed at UK’s biggest Country festival C2C Festival at the 02 Arena London and Glastonbury Festival for the third time running.
In 2022, Hayley was invited to perform at The Hot Country TV Awards in Ireland, in front of 1200 people and was presented UK Entertainer of the Year. Her song, Wild West, won International Single of the Year at The International Singer Songwriter Awards in Atlanta USA in August 2023.
Hayley’s single ‘Wild West’ was shortlisted UK Song of the year at the British Country Music Awards in London in 2021. It also reached no 11 in the UK iTunes Country Charts and is often played on national radio RTE Radio1, Absolute Country Radio, BBC Introducing and BBC Big Country Show.
