Local Authors Hayley & John Rocco Book Signing at Wakefield Books. Hayley Rocco is an award winning author, conservationist and photographer who loves writing children’s books. Also an ambassador for Wild Tomorrow, a nonprofit focused on conservation and re-wilding South Africa, Hayley travels the world armed with a pen, a journal, and her camera, discovering stories of wild things and wild places. John Rocco is a #1 New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of many acclaimed books for children, and has illustrated the covers for Rick Riordan's internationally bestselling series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. For many years Rocco has been an art director in the entertainment industry, working on projects at Dreamworks and Disney Imagineering.
