The magic is back! Following last year’s spectacular success, Haydon Wick Parish Council invites you to our Christmas Carnival on Friday 5th December at Haydon Wick Leisure Centre – bigger, brighter, and even more magical!Get ready for an ELF-tastic celebration! Inspired by everyone’s favourite Christmas movie, we’re transforming the leisure centre into a magical wonderland with enchanted candy cane forests and twinkling New York skylines.
The festivities begin at 4pm with beautiful harmonies from the Good Afternoon Choir. Step inside the Sports Hall to discover a charming Christmas market with live music featuring Cally’s festive favourites!
Enjoy the craft zone and LEGO activities. Marvel at the stunning lantern display before the evening concludes with Carols by Lantern Light – a truly magical way to end the night. With the festive tunes brought to you by Swindon Brass.
Outside, Buddy the Elf and Candy the Cane on stilts spread festive cheer amongst delicious street food and drinks from the Travelling Tavern Bar. Enjoy George Scarrott and Son’s Family Funfair, capture festive photos with Father Christmas, meet our special four-legged friend (yes, there’s a donkey!), and don’t miss the stunning Community Lantern display with mesmerising stilt walkers.
