• The only continent on which Barn Owls are not found is
Antarctica.
• The longest-lived American Barn Owl in Ohio was
over 15+ years old.
• Their ability to locate prey by sound is the best of any
animal tested.
• Their vision is excellent in low light and can locate
prey by sight at night.
• Their main nesting time is between February and March.
